Honouring the Life and Legacy of Christina McKelvie MSP
βThe Edinburgh Interfaith Association was most fortunate to work closely and effectively with the late Christina McKelvie, MSP and Scottish Government Minister for Drugs and Alcohol. During her tenure as Scottish Government Minister for Faith and Belief she tirelessly championed all faiths and none across Scotland. During the challenging time of the Covid 19 Global Pandemic she helped insure that the faith community received the critical resources needed to help our fellow citizens during this challenging time. Throughout each of our interactions with Minister McKelvie we were blessed to benefit from her brilliant brain, boundless talent, and generous enthusiasm for all faiths and none. Our heartfelt condolences are sent by all of us to her partner Keith Brown MSP and family. Scotland and the faith community is better today and in the future because of her remarkable life that was symbolised by her unending generosity for others, even during serious illness, throughout her entire life.β
